The Day Use area is used for picnics, family gatherings, and swimming or boating. Many people come to the sandy beach and designated swimming area to enjoy a day of fun a relaxation.

Family and friends can come to enjoy the day by swimming and cooking out.  Wildcat Creek is a wonderful place for fishing, boating, skiing, or any water sport. We even rent out paddle boats for the entire family to enjoy.  We also have hiking trails through virgin forests with gorgeous, tall trees and lots of wildlife.

The day use area is free to those who are camping at Wildcat Creek.  For everyone else, a nominal fee is charged for beach and boat ramp access.

Day Use Area Rates:

FREE for overnight guests of Wildcat Creek Recreation Area.  All others $2.00 per person per day.

Day Use Area Guidelines

* Swim at your own risk. No lifeguard is on duty.
* No pets on the beach or in the picnic area.
* No Glass containers on the beach.
